I haven't updated in awhile!
Sunday the 22nd:
HOT HOT HEAAAAAAAAT!!! Christen, Karen, and I got down to the Troc sometime before six. We waited in line for awhile and they finally started letting people in. Karen and I both got this cute cream colored HHH shirt. We were, again, in the second 'row'. The Blue Van was awesome again...of course. Robbers on High Street...they seemed to play somewhat more livelier (is that a word?) stuff but eh, I dunno. I still say they should have played first. Anyway, HHH was awesooome! Karen and I were dancing like crazy all over the place. I think they played pretty much the same set that they did in New York, but oh well. They were still amazing and I got one of the set lists! Karen and I were, again, soaked by the night but it was all good cause I had sooooooo much fun. I WANNA DO IT AGAIN! hahaha. And I saw Scott and Mike after the show so that was awesome! After that we went to the pub and for some reason, I was reaaaally hyper and just...bouncing off the walls. Eeeek.
Monday the 23rd:
Ummm..I picked Neil up from school and then went to hang out at his house for awhile cause Helen was there and she's leaving for Israel next week. Eventually went home around five and later that night, I went to Nifty Fifty's with the crew and then some of us went to Rachel's for a bit and watched some TV.
Tuesday the 24th:
I went and applied at Target and then went to bed early cause I had work at 8:30 the next day.
Wednesday the 25th:
So, I had to go work at the Franklin Mills store from 8:30-3:00 so I was supposed to get up at 6:30, but I slept until 7:00 so I was rushing somewhat and I don't know the Franklin Mills area at all. Work wasn't that bad until I started to feel dizzy, lightheaded, and I had a huge headache. I thought eating lunch would make me feel better, but it didn't. I just stuck it out until my shift was over and then went home and slept for three hours which made me feel much better. Oh, and I got a call back from Target! But, I called them back late and the person that I needed to talk to was gone already. Everyone went to the pub that night cause Bre and Jamie left for Israel the next day. I was supposed to wake up early on Thursday so I only went to the pub for like an hour.
Thursday:
I was supposed to get up at eight to go to the gym before work at eleven, buttt it didn't happen. So, I worked 11-3 and it was a nice day...not too busy and no extremely hard work to get done lol. Later that night, I went out with Karen so she could get a new thing for her Monroe. Gah, I think we were driving in that car for hours haha. Thenn...we went to the pub with Christen and Rachel...oh, and Dicks stopped by for a bit!
Friday:
Umm...went to the gym in the morning and uhhhh. OHHHH. Andrew and Karen picked me up later and we went back to Karen's to get her car and then we went to pick up Tom and we headed up to New Hope! We walked around there for a bit and then we walked to Jersey! hhahaha. Karen and I were both calling people that live in Jersey like losers to tell them that we were walking there "I'm walking to Jersey.....well, actually, we're just walking over the bridge to Lambertville" *shakes head* Then we walked back to the car and then dropped the boys off before heading over to....the pub! Where else? Aw, we finally got the cute waiter...he is so adorable. I just loved it when he brought out our hot water for the tea in a pitcher for water, soda, etc. instead of one of the coffee pitchers lmao. Karen and I could not stop laughing lol. It's okay cause he's precious. Anyyyway, Dan, Joel, Bobby, and Alan/Allen met up with us and we planned out more of our picture scavenger hunt! I can't wait...it's going to be SOOO awesome. Aaand yeah...it was a good night!
Saturday:
I was supposed to go up to New York today to see Helen with my rents and Neil and his rents but I didn't want to get up early. So instead, once I got up, I went to the gym....where I almost fell off the treadmill! I was looking out the window at something in the parking lot and yeah, almost fell off. I am just THAT smooth. I got back and walked Casey and then after I showered and stuff, I took her to the park. I don't know if she really liked it though cause I just wanted to lie down and read and she wanted to go everywhere. Ohh wellll. So yeah...I'm just sitting around now waiting to do something. Oh, and it's Erin's birthday!!!! The big 2-0! Happy Birthdaaaay..you're so old! jk :)
Ummm....I want ice cream. I have no money. Ugggggggh.

2:40 pm - Another day, another night, another year.

Last night I went over to Rachel's and watched Bruce Almighty with some people...that movie is so funny. I love the part where Jim Carrey makes the other news anchor say all that random stuff and make those sounds...omggg, I was still laughing like five minutes after the scene was over haha. So, that was over by like 11:30 and everyone was leaving already! I took Christen home where some weiiird guys were hanging out in the parking lot area and tried talking to us..we were like uhhh wtf? I hung out at her house for a few minutes and then left to go meet up with Karen at the pub! That turned into another four hour night filled with 23629 cups of tea. It was nice though to just sit and talk.
I wasn't tired though when I got home. I drank all that tea + I took a nap earlier in the day. Sooo..I cleaned my room somewhat and then laid in bed until six something when I finally fell asleep. And somehow I managed to get myself out of bed this morning at eleven to go to the gym. I was supposed to go to Target with mahj today but that doesn't seem to be happening. Booo.
But tonight is HOT HOT HEAT!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm kiiinda excited haha. I really really really want to go see them in Lancaster. I'll say something about it on Tuesday to my mom and see what she says.

so yesterday karen and i went to see HOT HOT HEAT in new york! we missed our first train and almost missed the second one too. we're slick like that. speaking of slick, i managed to spill half my drink all over the floor of the train and the conductor guy was just like 'just move up a seat...they'll clean it up in new york' well if you say so. so we got to ny and managed to make it down to webster hall without getting lost!
we managed to get a good spot up front with only one 'row' of people in front of us. the first band was the blue van and they're from denmark! i couldn't really tell if the vocals were good, but musically i was impressed. their last song was really long and it was just NUTS. half the time i was standing there with my jaw dropped. and the bass player was craaazy. yeah they were good.
next was robbers on high street. aw, they were all so cute and little! they weren't bad, just...kind of slow? i dunno. like for the blue van, we were moving, but for them, i just stood there.
after waiting for so long, HOT HOT HEAT came out!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
they opened with no, not now and the encore was elevator/oh, goddamnit/running out of time. they played everything off of elevator except 'shame on you' and 'soldier in a box'. they played everything off of make up the breakdown except 'aveda' and 'in cairo'. they didn't do anything off of knock knock knock which i didn't realize until after the show was over and that was kind of weird. they always do at least one song from that. so the crowd wasn't the best...well, i'm sure it could've been worse, but it's okay cause karen and i danced all over the place and sweated through our clothes completely...ew haha. at times, everyone would be jumping up and down and you could feel the whole floor moving...intense! but ah, the show was sooooo good and sooooo fun! i'm so excited for the philly show! i'm hoping they'll play either 'shame on you' or 'soldier in a box' and at least something from knock knock knock. karen and i were talking about going to the lancaster show on wednesday but she has class that night :( i'm still contemplating going by myself. i really can't afford it but it's hot hot heat! soo yeah, the show was AWESOME.
we got back to trenton around midnight and headed over to the pub where we waited for an hour for dave and jeff to get there. and we told our waiter that we were gonna wait to order so he disappeared and i was so hungry and i kept yelling and being obnoxious lol. saw some random people...well, duh, it's the pub. and yeah that was my niight!
today i woke up and dragged my ass to the gym. i didn't do anything real productive after that. cleaned up outside..walked the dog..napped.
i should get ready and head over to rachel's.

why helllooo.
so on tuesday, i never went to kickboxing with yana. well, i went but i was complaining the whole time and i convinced her like two minutes before the class started to let me take her car home and come back later to pick her up. soo yeah, i did that. later that night a bunch of us went over to christen's for a movie night. we attempted to watch life aquatic but that wasn't very successful. christen let me and bre make brownies and that was quite the experience haha. sooo i have a tendency to lose my balance and fall. we were in christen's basement and i think i was going upstairs to check on the brownies. so i'm walking towards the door and i saw that bre was sitting there by it, but i couldn't tell where her legs were cause it was dark. so yeah i manage to trip and i don't know exactly how i fell, but i managed to end up lying on the floor and my ankle and my wrist hurt. and oh yes, the bruises were there right the next day. i'm a piece of work i swear. anyway, eventually we turned off a life aquatic and almost everyone left except me and bre so we put on garden state. i fell asleep though..my bad.
wednesday:
woke up and went to the gym. then i went home to shower and stuff and went over to styer's to apply there. it's actually a pretty cute place. so i was driving home from that and i get a call from abby saying she's about to pass the newtown exit! so i made her get off there and we met up on buck road. awww, reunion with my loml! she didn't have a lot of time so i took her to christen's and she met her and rachel. then we stopped by karen's. hmm what else? we drove by south and through newtown and down to the holland wawa and by amanda's house. that was my attempt at an exciting tour haha. so she left around four and i think i ended up going back to karen's for awhiiile. later that night, bre came over and the three of us stopped by chris's to borrow his life board game. it's an older version though so it didn't have like the cards with the kind of house you get and stuff so we ended up not playing. jamie and christen came over to karen's and we attempted to play risk. we got going a bit but we didn't finish. then we went over to the pub, of course, and yeah that's it.
thursday:
went to the gym and then went home to shower. stopped by north to drop neil's tennis stuff off for him and then i went over to goodnoe's to apply there. i talked to the ?manager? and he was really nice and i was kind of hopeful until he said that they had received like 1,000 applications. gaaah. then i went and got gas cause i had been driving around on empty for awhile. hmm..what else? oh..went home and slept before i had work at seven. we got out at ten and...oh wait. i have another story. so marianne parked far away from the bank so she drove kim and i over to it. well, her car is a two seater and i could only figure out how to like bend the seat forward, but not slide it forward. so i was trying to get out but i was getting stuck in the seatbelts or something and i eventually stumbled out and i was seriously thisclose to becoming bff with the curb. marianne and kim were like omg are you okay?? and i was like uhh yeah, this happens a lot lol. anyyway, i got home and hung out there for a bit and then went over to applebee's with christen, rachel, bre, and the erin's. aw, i had a mini shafer reunion minus laura :( but it was good to see courtney and ryan..i hadn't seen them in awhiile. after that, me, christen, and rachel went to christen's for a bit and we watched this tape she has from forever ago of the BOX! ahhh...such oold videos. i felt like i was in junior high again.
i was gonna go to the gym today but then i woke up and heard the rain and there went my motivation haha. oh well. maybe i'll go tomorrow.
today is HOT HOT HEAT in NEW YORK!!!!!!! it sucks that it's raining but what can ya do? ahhhh, i'm exciiited!

Well, it's already Tuesday so I figured I should update about the past week before I forget...
Tuesday 5/10:
-Mahj's birthday
-Had my last final (Poli Sci--too out of it from pulling two all nighters to even finish the final)
-Packed throughout the day and said bye to various people
-Finally left somewhere around 9:30ish, cried saying bye to everyone, and cried hysterically the car ride home :(
-Went to bed at eleven cause I was soo beat
Wednesday 5/11:
-Stopped by work to get my paycheck
-Applied at some places
-Went back to ltd2 to work for a few hours
-Went over to Christen's later to hang out with her and Rachel
Thursday 5/12:
-Christen and I went to Newtown looking for places to apply for jobs (at least I think we did that on Thursday..)
-That night went to Jamie's...but Christen and I went to Wawa right after we got to Jamie's and because of bad directions got so insanely lost. And then got lost coming back to Jamie's *shakes head*
-Finally got back to her house and watched National Treasure with everyone
Friday 5/13:
-Opened at work
-Dinner with Amanda at Goodnoe's
-Went to the pub later with everyone
-Me, Christen, Dan, Rachel, and Chris went to Chris's house to watch A Fish Called Wanda, but I think we all fell asleep...or at least I did haha
Saturday 5/14:
-Headed over to Newtown to see what was going on with Welcome Day but that was kind of boring
-Stopped by Yana's and talked to her for a bit
-Eventually made it over to Jamie's with Veronica following me and of course getting lost. Sooo a bunch of people were there and I figured I might as well get a bunch of caffiene in me since everyone was drinking and yeah, I was just crazy the rest of the night. The party ended up getting moved over to Alex's but we left there some time after midnight and I was passed out by two...eaarly night
Sunday 5/15
-Pahj dropped me and mahj off at King of Prussia while he went to work..I got some things. But then I was 25 minutes late to work cause there was some problem at pahj's work and he was late picking us up
-Got out of work early and later went over to Karen's to watch Family Guy
-Went to the pub with Christen and Rachel
-When we were getting ready to leave it was still pretty early so Karen and I went over to Perdew's to watch the Incredibles. Leave it to me to fall asleep when there was only ten minutes left lol
Monday 5/16
-Drove over to North to drop off Neil's stuff for his tennis tournament
-Signed up for a membership at the gym..finaally
-Went to the park with Karen
-Then, off to the pub with Karen, Bre, and Jamie. Jamie and Bre left and Ian, Christen, and Rachel came. Ian left after eating and eventually Christen and Rachel left. So, FOUR hours and 89245 tea bags, 2955 sugar packets, and 922 half n halfs LAAATER, Karen and I finally left haha
-Went back to Karen's and we watched Elf...we both fell asleep and I woke up at like...3:50 and I didn't wanna wake Karen up so I walked home lol. It only took like twenty minutes and maybe I burned some calories so it's all good haha.
Aaaand yeah.
Eleanor is still in the shop and the cost of her repairs is $550-ish. fghyu73y6yc.
I haven't been doing much today since I'm stranded here. I read outside for awhile, cleaned my room a tiny bit, and made myself lunch. FUN FUN. I am going to kickboxing with Yana tonight though. That should be interesting...I give myself twenty mintues before I pass out...ehhh, we'll see.
So, HOT HOT HEAT is this Friday in New York! Normally, I'm crazy excited but for some reason I'm not as excited as I usually am. I think it's because I have an extra ticket and no one to go with and I'm worried my rents won't let me go by myself :/ But then Sunday is HHH again with Karen and Christen...that should be fun, as long as the crowd isn't a bitch.

i don't know what my deal is. like...i'm happy to be home, but at the same time, i'm not.
i had my last final yesterday and then i packed throughout the day and of course i cried a lot. just looking around the suite and seeing it all empty would make me cry. and then saying bye to people...
les, melody, nicholas, and abby helped me bring my stuff down to the car and i said bye to each of them with abby being the last one and ugh. i just broke down. i cried for half the car ride home.
i always do this...i always get so attached. and then leaving is so hard.
and like i know that i'm gonna see everyone in august since most of us are living in towers, but august is just so far.
i hadn't slept in two days so i went to bed at eleven last night and i climbed into bed and i was like wow i'm gonna be doing this alone for a couple months. just cause i got so used to abby always being there in the room too.
and i was walking out to my car this afternoon and i was like ...and summer begins. but it was just a really weird feeling. i was blasting hot hot heat in the car and i couldn't even get into it. blah, i am too bummed out.
i'm sure looking at my temple pictures on webshots isn't going to make me feel better.
freshman year in college is such an experience and thankfully, i had an amazing time and i met so many awesome people and it went by way too fast and i'm just gonna miss the year in general.
i dunno...i'm sure i'll be back to 'normal' soon. i'm just being a sap.

i want bubble tea..mmmm. that would be so nice right now.
so, this past week has been nice.
our last day of classes was monday and then tuesday and wednesday were study days. and i basically used them as slack off days. wednesday i was smart and stayed up until 6am...nothing like going to bed when it's crazy light outside. my first final was on friday and it was for stat. of course i put off studying for it until thursday at like..3am. i studied until 5:30 and then woke up at 9am to study some more. but my teacher, thankfully, let us use our books. i ran out of time so i had to guess on a couple but i reaaallly hope i did okay. i need to get at least a 70 on it to pass the class.
after that final, i stopped by my advisor's office to pick up my hot hot heat cd's that i lent him and turns out he likes them! i converted another person :) so i got back to my room and slept from 1:30-4:00...that was nice. i finally showered when i woke up, ew i was so dirty. and then watched vanilla sky with a bunch of people. suuch a confusing movie. i still don't understand completely what happened.
aw, so last night was our last friday here and everyone celebrated by getting drunk haha. it was a funny night. a lot of the night was videotaped and abby and i watched it earlier today...soo funny. but yeah we all hung out in jason's room until midnight-ish i think and then migrated over to brett's suite. umm...we hung out there for awhile and then a bunch of us went over to sev. i was starving and i risked it and got SUSHI from SEV. i was really worried about eating it but i didn't die so it's all good haha. went back to white and some people left to go elsewhere and i had a good chat with les and keith. eventually everyone came back and we all hung out until four something. aw...keith was the first to move out so we said bye to him :( and then went to bed. ah, it was so weird going over there today and seeing his side all empty. soo weird.
it was a fun night. i put up my pix from it on webshots...the link is in my profile. tonight should be pretty good too.
so, i'm done tuesday at two but i wasn't going to move out until wednesday morning. but then my dad said he was going to stop by tuesday night to drop off my suitcases, which is stupid cause he can just take me home then soo yeah, i think i'm moving out tuesday night instead.
it's going to be SO sad saying bye to everyone else. i know most of us are living in towers next year and obviously we'll all see each in september but that's in SEPTEMBER. you just get so used to hanging out with the same people every day and then yeah...everyone is gone. well, i guess it's just like when everyone left for school in august.
i can't think...my brain is fried.

i'm procrastinating like craaazy. everyone has been working on all these papers lately and you think i would join the bandwagon, but nah..has yet to happen. gah, i'm such a slacker.
anyyway...
on saturday i went home to babysit pavel and daneal. they were actually pretty calm compared to how psychotic they normally are. and i made $40 so that was awesome.
sunday..
i thought my dad was gonna drop me off at school, but he decided to drop me off at the train station instead. well, we were rushing like crazy so i wouldn't miss it. i was waiting for awhile for it come and some announcement kept being made about something dealing with police activity? i couldn't really make it out. so i call my dad and tell him that i'm still there waiting so he turns around to come back to the station. then a train comes so i call and tell him the train is here. but then i asked the conductor type person if it was going to temple cause it was going in the direction of woodbourne and she tells me it's going to west trenton. um, the train i normally take down to school goes to west trenton eventually but this train was going in the opposite direction. i was like umm okaaay? i call my dad back and he turns around AGAIN and just drove me down to school. well, turns out...at one of the train stations, these two old women in their 70s went to cross over because they thought the train was going to stop, but it really wasnt, so yeaah..they got killed :( :( how horrible is that?
when i got back to school, i went over to the gay rights festival because i have to write an article on it for journalism. i saw random temple and CR people. it was cute though with all the couples walking around and a lot of people had their dogs with them and music was playing and yeaah, it was cute. i don't think i have enough info for a 750 word article, but whatever...i'll figure it out. before i headed back to temple, i stopped and got some bubble tea (mmmmm) and then headed back to school.
my brother had two extra tickets to the mars volta show last night soo brian and renata said they would go so we drove over to the electric factory and met up with my brother and erin. there was no opening band and they went on at eight and their set was over at eleven. so they played for THREEE HOURSS. it was so intense. they were really really awesome though. it was a really good show. i don't get how they do that if at each show they're playing three hour sets. they're touring with system of a down in august. very weird match up, but i hope they come to philly...that'll be an awesome show to see.
gah, i didn't go to bed until five last night and then i overslept this morning, but i did go to all my classes! well, it was the last day of classes so i figured i might as well.
umm...my credit card bill is $100 more than i thought it was so therefore i am screwed. 89gyui39t.

soo..last night was craazy to say the least. i don't feel like writing a big paragraph so i'll just do what bre did in a recent entry:
abby's friend from home, eric, was in town for the penn relays soo..
-went over to upenn around 9:00 and got some amaazing bubble tea<33
-walked over to where eric was eating dinner
-made him and this kid james rush and eat quickly (oops)
-took a cab back to temple
-hung out at white for a bit trying to figure out what was going on
-the four of us + keith left and went over to sig pi
-"um it's too full for guys, walk around the block and come back"
-met up with gary and others and talked to them for a bit
-went back to sig pi and got in
-hung out there for a bit but it was hot/beat
-left to go to the gym house
-saw a bunch of people there
-eventually left for owl's nest
-craazy drama outside of pi lam and some unfortunate events....
-hung out at owl's nest and then headed back to white
-attempted to wander but ended up chillin with people in the stairwell
-back to the room with an attempt to sleep by me
-over to john's room for a bit
-aand finally back to the room to finally sleep..
well...i tried to sleep except eric wouldn't let me until like five. and eric and james had to leave at SEVEN.
that actually doesn't sound bad written out but i don't feel like putting all the details..it was just whoaaa. eventful would be a good word to use. and i talked to random CR people. i swear, everywhere i go is like a mini CR reunion. weiird shit.
i was gonna stay here all weekend, but i was asked to babysit my cousins and that involves me getting money so yeah i'll be going home tonight lol. tomorrow is the equality forum and i have to write an article on it for journalism so i have to come back in the morning. cyndi lauper is playing for $5!
okay, my train leaves in like..twenty minutes...i need to bust out of here.

This weekend was soo much fun!
Friday:
Pahj picked me up from school and took me home. My brother and his girlfriend came over for dinner and my mom told all these stories about ME when I was kid. Oh god, I was such a little monster. Later, I picked up Jack from the train station and we headed over to the pub. Ah, it was infested with South seniors...craazyness. Eventually, KAREN came!! Ah, it was soo good to see her. And her friend Lauren from school came down with her and she's really awesome. So, a bunch of people actually came to the pub, but a lot of them just stopped by to say hi, I guess? Well, it was still good to see everyone. Oh, pictures from that night are up on my webshots!
Saturday:
I went to work to pick up my paycheck, but the shift that I worked wasn't on those paychecks soo I didn't get anything. I walked around the mall to see if anyone was hiring, but that wasn't really successful. I drove around looking for other places I could work, but it doesn't seem like anyone is hiring. I dunno. Styer's is hiring, but I'm not working there lol. I wanna work somewhere like Barnes and Noble or Border's. Later on, Karen called me and I went over to her house to see her rents! I talked to them for awhile..aw, they're so cute, I love them. We hung out there for a bit, Sean stopped by, and then me, Karen, and Lauren left for Asbury Park! Drive Without was playing a battle of the bands at the Stone Pony so we went out to support them lol. It was SO funny. During this one pop punk-ish band, there was somewhat of a crowd but there was just this empty space all in front of the stage and this little 13 year-old would randomly come out of nowhere and just spazz out. I don't think you could call what he was doing dancing lol. So, one time he ran out and Karen and I ran out with him and danced like morons with him hahahhha. It was soooo funny. Then we did it again so Lauren could get a picture of it. Ah, it was hilarious lol. Then, Drive Without played and they were really good! We left after they were done and eventually Ian called to us that they won and they get to play Bamboozle! Which is sooo awesome. We got back to Karen's and hung out there for awhile just talking and stuff. When I was getting ready to leave, Ian was back by then and he told us that they got thirty three-day passes for Bamboozle to sell for $12. $12!!!!! Ah, I wanna go SOO bad, but I only have like $26 dollars..THAT'S IT. So yeah, I dunno right now. I'm really, really considering it though.
Sunday:
I went to Target with mahj and got some random things...including this really cute long tank top that has white and blue-ish stripes. Later, I went to my family lunch/dinner for Passover. It was actually a really good fam party...lots of good food and I got to catch up with everyone. Five hours later, we finally went home lol. And then pahj took me back to school.
And yeah...it was definitely a good weekend!
So, Mars Volta is this Sunday and I don't have the slightest clue where my ticket is. I was thinking it might be at school, but it's not. And I don't recall seeing it at home. Like, my rents put my mail in my room, but I've only gotten my GUK ticket. Ahhhh. The Ticketmaster envelopes look like nothing though so they're easy to just lose or throw away (like Erin did with her and my brother's ticket haha). I guess I can just call Ticketmaster and tell them I never got it.
I stayed up until four something last night trying to get an IH paper done and eventually I just went to sleep because I just could not write another page. So, this morning, I was like eh, whatever...I'll turn it in how it is. I had my paper and I was actually not that late and my teacher never even showed up! I love how that works out lol.

This is driving me crazy. I have read like 9285563 reviews of "Elevator" and so many of those reviews compare Hot Hot Heat to the Strokes. Okay, I like the Strokes, but I don't see the comparison between the two AT ALLLL. I don't get why they all keep writing it.
AND, HHH is from VICTORIA. Not VANCOUVER. I actually Mapquested it because I'm a loser and they're actually three hours away from each other! Blah, at least get the simple facts about a band right.

I have to type up my Journalism article. I need to type up my IH paper. I need to finish my Poli Sci paper.
Riiight.
So, yesterday was the Spring Fling Fair! It was pretty chaotic, but still fun. I figured it would make a good article for Journalism so I was walking around like a dork with my notebook and writing down everything that I saw. Anyway, so they had a rock climbing wall set up on Liacouras Walk and the rest of it was turned into "Greek Street" which basically meant that's where all the frats/sororities had their tables set up. And they were all selling different stuff and had different stuff going on. Then, along Berks Mall and 13th St. the clubs had their tables set up and there were food tent/table things set up too. And by the Bell Tower, they had the gymnastics team doing demonstration things, they had a mechanical bull, a trampoline, aaand other stuff, I think lol. And yeah it was really cool. SOOO many people were out so it was cool to see everyone actually out and participating in stuff. It was crazy hot though. I skipped Poli Sci to go, but I had to go stop by the room before Journalism so I could change my shirt cause I was SO gross. Ewww. But yeah, it was a fun day. I think my face actually got a teeny bit of color! I got out of Journalism early because I finished the in-class assignment early and then I went to hang out in Melissa's room with her until Abby got out of class. I don't think we really did anything else the rest of the day...ummmm. A few of us sat along Broad St. for awhile for some reason lol. We came up with a really cool idea. There's been a lot of construction on Broad lately so they have those big, round things that are orange with white stripes? I don't know what they're called. But, we picked one up and they're hollow inside so we thought it would be really funny if someone got in and then walked out into the road and just freaked people out. No one actually did it though. That would've been hilarious.
Today was supposed to be crazy hot, but it was actually not that bad at all. I want a tan sooo bad. I'm so pale that my mom thought something was WRONG with me. I was like uhh..no, I'm really just THAT pale. I sat out in the courtyard tonight and got some homework done...I've never sat out there, but it's nice.
I ordered my tickets for HHH in Philly and NY today!!!! Kcuf Ticketmaster and their insane charges...other than that, I'm SO excited. I can't wait! And Karen's a HHH virgin so hopefully the crowd isn't as obnoxious as they were for Christen's first HHH show :/ Someone needs to come with me to see them in NY cause the crowd for them up there is always cool.
Okay, I should get this work done because I want to get to sleep soon.

Ahhh, so Hot Hot Heat announced some more U.S. dates and they will be in New York on 5/20 and then in Philly at the Troc on 5/22. They haven't played the Troc yet so that will be cool. Ahhh, I'm excited. Tickets go on sale this week! And Karen's gonna come with me to the Philly show...I have to get a hold of Christen and see if she wants to come too. And then I need to find someone to go to the New York show with since Abigail will be in Cali. Ahhhhhh...I'm so excited! I can't wait to hear the new songs live. Even though I've heard them already, but when I heard them I didn't really know them soo yeah.
Yesterday, I went home cause I had work. Me and trains are such a bad combo cause I always manage to miss the train that I need to take. See, I knew I could never be a commuter. Anyway, for the second Sunday in a row I managed to miss my train and on Sunday's they only come once an hour. So, Abby walked with me to the train station and then I sat there for 45 minutes waiting for the next one to come around. That train was supposed to get in at 6:25, but it got in ten minutes late so by the time I got home it was already 6:45. I had work at seven, but I didn't even leave my house until like 6:55. Oh welll..they didn't really care that I was late. So yeah, the mall closed and we had to basically move evverything from my store to our temp store while they remodel the old store. I was soo tired by the end of the night. It was a good night though and it's always good to see the girls. Ah, Carol looks more pregnant every time I see her lol...I kept rubbing her stomach and stuff. And yeah, we all left at midnight and the temp store wasn't completely done by then, but it was almost there. It looks so nice in there..everything was crazy neat and it just looked good. A little crowded, but it still looked good.
This morning, when I got to the train station, there was a freight train leaving and by the time I got my stuff out of my car, I saw my train pulling in. So, I had to run like a moron while pulling Abby's mini suitcase along. I actually made it though.
Today was such a gorgeous day! I think we're going to go lollygag soon.
Ah, I got two more credit cards in the mail...... I don't think I'm going to activate them though.
Spring Fling is tomorrow! I'm skipping my first class to go. It should be funnn.

Everyone went out to TKE, but I don't have money to spend on a frat soo I'm staying in and I'm boored. Everyone else is gone until tomorrow. But, I REALLY have to get a paper done so I guess it's better that I stay in.
So, earlier this week, they put up the name of our fifth roommate. Her name is Keshia and of course we all like Facebook'd each other and talked online and stuff. Then the next day, I was at lunch with Abby, Melissa, and Melody and Keshia happened to walk by and we all recognized each other so she sat down and ate with us. She's really cool and really nice so we were relieved about that. We didn't want get stuck with some..bitchy girly-girl or something like that haha. A day or two after that they put up the name of our sixth roommate and her name is Cynthia and turns out I had Comp 50 with her first semester. I never really talked to her though. Keshia said she knows her though so it's all good. The six of us all need to get together for lunch or dinner or something soon.
I can't for the life of me remember what I did Thursday night. Uhhh. OHhh. Dicks came to visit! We didn't really do much though. A bunch of people went to a frat, but I stayed in with Melissa and Amanda and some others stayed in. Well, Amanda was hungry so we decided to go to Owl's Nest but then we remembered that Melissa was on Abby's guest card and Abby had left. After a million phone calls and waiting around for awhile..Mike and Abby came back and we were able to sign Melissa out. So, we went over to Owl's Nest so they could get food and then after that, Amanda and I went over to Johnson to hang out with Matt for a bit. It was actually my first time in a room in either Johnson or Hardwick..their room was actually nice and really chill. Eventually, we headed back to White and hung out with the boys for a bit...while they all made fun of South :( As if Abington is so much better...jerks haha. I forget when we went to bed, but I let Dicks have my bed and I slept in Abby's bed with her...oh baby lol. And yeah, the next morning, Dicks' dad picked her up and she left. I know we didn't really do anything special while she was here, but it was still sooo good to see her. Aw, I love Dickface haha.
Friiiday: Since Muse was in town for the mtvu Campus Invasion tour, they had all this stuff set up by the bell tower. I was having clothing issues and wanted to go to the mtvu thing so I skipped my first two classes and went to that with Abby and Melissa. There wasn't that much stuff but it was still fun! Then we went to lunch at the SAC and then Abby and I actually went to our last classes lol. So, the TBS/JEW show was that night, but I couldn't find anyone to buy my ticket off of me...until AFTER the show was over. But whatever. So, Muse was playing at the Liacouras Center so I walked over there and met up with my brother and all his friends. When we got there, the opening band, Razorlight, was already done so we figured Muse would be on soon. I think they went on like..an hour later lol. It was such a long intermission. So, last time I saw them was at the Electric Factory so I didn't think this show would've been as good because LC is a significantally bigger venue...but yeah, I was proven wrong. They seriously amaze me every time...they still have the top spot for the best band I've ever seen in concert. And holy crap, their lighting effects...I've never seen anything like it. I can't even describe them...but they were just as amazing. It was just an incredible show. And they did what they did at the EF show where at the end of the set they threw out HUGE white balloons with red confetti inside. They were thrown around for a bit and eventually they popped. Gaaah. They were SO good. I was standing next to Art towards the end of their set and they started to play Muscle Museum, which apparently they don't play often. And that was the song that got Art and my brother into Muse back when they were in high school. Holy shit. Art like freaaked out. He just started JUMPING and like...jumping HIGH. It was so funny haha. But yeah, totally awesome show.
I got out of there by eleven, headed back to White, changed into pj's, and went to look for everyone. I think I caught the (almost?) end of the big beer pong tournament that was going on. Eventually everyone migrated over to 401 and some of the boys started a jam session and it was so chill just hanging out and watching the boys play guitar. Gah, after like two, I was so tired that I couldn't even get up and leave lol. Melody and I stayed until four just watching Tim and Ben play..my god, those two played for houurs...but they're both really good so it was fun. I think I was finally in bed by five...I was sooo beat.
I wasn't very productive today. I went to dinner with Abby and Melissa for awhiile. Well, we would have left earlier than we did if I wasn't a stalker...lol. Then, at seven, my brother and Erin picked me up and we headed over to meet up with everyone at the TLA for the Garbage show. I haven't listened to them in a long time and I barely remembered the words to their songs, but it was still an awesome show. Again, the lighting effects! It's becoming a trend or something lol. They had like four flat screen TV's along the back of the stage and then usually the background of the stage where band's put up a big sheet with their logo or whatever? Instead it was a black thing and it had holes punched in it..not randomly, like in lines and stuff. And then whatever played on the TV's, it would come up on the background as well, but as lights. Like, on the TV would be white smoke so the background would be white lights in the same pattern as the smoke on the TV. It's hard to explain but it looked SOO awesome. And Shirley Manson is the cutest thing ever..you can't not like her lol. The show ended somewhere between 9:00-9:30 (there's a Handsome Boy Modeling School show at 11pm) and I was back at Temple by 10:15.
Aaaand here I am. I really need to do this paper.
I was supposed to go to Six Flags tomorrow with Dan and others, but apparently that's not happening anymore. At least I don't think it is. I guess I don't have to wake up early then?

i wasn't aware that alkaline trio is going on tour. they're playing two nights in a row at the tla and i just ordered a ticket for the second night since the guk nj show is the same night as the first show. soo i have to remember to get a ticket for that guk show and for the killers in ny. i forgot about the presale and by the time i remembered about it, it was already sold out. i'll just have to wait around until the rest of the tickets go on sale.
so this morning we picked our housing for next year! ahh we had to get up so early and we were so nervous..especially when we got down there and saw how many rooms were already taken. we wanted a four person room in towers but they were all full by the time our number was called. so we got a six person on the fifth floor in towers. we're in the dorm we wanted and all the guys are on the third floor and on the same side as us so it's not bad at all. i'm happy with it. but six person means that there's gonna be two random girls put with us. hopefully they don't suck cause girls tend to do that lol.
um...so this weekend wasn't bad. thursday and friday night i just stayed in and watched movies. saturday was fun though! (other than birnbaum sexually violating my phone..gross) a lot of people went home so it was only me, abby, tim, and keith around. so the four of us decided to play halo together since we all suck...well, tim's not bad but the rest of us sucked lol. played that for awhile and then played some ping pong and then played cranium! ah, i hadn't played it in so long and i forgot the rules lol. the boys won though..it's okay, we were close behind. aand then we were kinda hyper so we put all this gel in tim's hair and spiked it all up. i got his camera and abigail and i proceeded to take a million pictures lol. i should eventually get them and then i'll put them up on webshots.
last night, i went with abby to do her laundry and i was bored and decided to sit in her laundry basket. i got her to pull me around a lil bit but it was tiring so i was trying to think of an alternative. and i decided that we needed a skateboard and les let us borrow his :D soo. we put the basket on top of the skateboard and then i sat in the basket and abby pushed me up and down the hallway. and it was like two hours past quiet hours and of course i was screaaming lol. it was SOO fun. until she decided to roll me into the elevator and send me down to the first floor. and i couldn't do anything cause my back was to the door, i was stuck in the basket, and i couldn't reach the buttons. so i'm chillin at the first floor hoping that someone will need to use the elevator. finally some people hit the button and came in and i was like 'uhh...can you send me up to the fourth floor? my roommate kinda rolled me in here..." lol. and then they helped roll me out of there lol i eventually got out and i saw abby cracking up on the staircase. oh god lol. and yeah we did a couple more runs and ahh..it's fun. we saw amanda and kiah going to get their laundry and amanda has a big basket too so i'm thinking we should do races! that would be soo fun. orrr if i can find like..a helmet and all those pads and then go down the steps. that would be intense.
so i'm thinking about going skydiving on me and melissa's birthday. i think abby and melissa are up for it. hmm..we'll see. that will be a blast though.
okay, i have to go meet up with abby for lunch!

Ahhh...today my package came with Hot Hot Heat's 'Elevator' CD and the shirt that I ordered! So that was a good way to start off my day :) I just came back from the caf with Keith and he accidentally locked John and Tim out so when we got back I went and laughed at them haha. Earlier today, I went to the tutoring center for help with Stat, but I don't think there was anyone there to help me? I dunno...but one of the chicks told me they were closing soon so I left and came back here. Aaand then I went to the gym and it was nice cause it wasn't too crowded or anything.
Last night I didn't wanna go out so I stayed in and watched Signs and 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag with Keith and others. It was actually my first time seeing Signs and I got all excited seeing 'Bucks County' on the screen and then when they were in Newtown..I was freaking out haha. I was like 'ahh..that's State St!' Aaand yeah, that was my night.
I didn't go out Thursday either...I stayed in and watched High Fidelity and Ladder 49. Oh god, Ladder 49 had me crying like a total baby. Well, duh, it was sad so it makes sense to cry but yeah.
I'm not sure what I should do the rest of the day. It's really nice out though.
Ah, it's so good to finally be able to listen to this CD. I've read 367848 reviews about it but I never knew what they were talking about cause I didn't wanna listen to the CD before I had it. It's definitely different than Make Up the Breakdown...definitely different. Elevator isn't as dance-y. I still like it though. I can't wait till they come around here again! The next US tour will probably during the summer and if they hit their usual stops...maybe I can go to another show along with Philly and New York. Hmm..we'll see.

i'm worried about this semester. like, i'm really scared that i won't pass my classes. last semester, i was only worried about not passing one class. this semester, i'm worried about not passing FOUR classes. and i don't have much time to get my shit together.
we're gonna be done in like..a month. ahh...it's so weird to think about it. only a month left living here. despite my current academic situation, this semester has been so much fun. actually, the whole year has been fun and i hope next year is just as fun. i just can't let this semester repeat next year cause right now i am so scared and freaked out. obviously this is 100% my fault and i have no one to blame but me.
blah.
umm..i forgot about weezer tickets going on sale this morning so i hit snooze a few times. i finally remembered and yeah, twenty minutes after tickets went on sale, they were already sold out. eh, that was expected.
i should go to the gym today since i didn't go yesterday.

I got a 25 cent raise at work! How exciting...I thought I was gonna get only like a ten cent raise.
But, I still need to find a second job. I really wanna work at a record store because that would be fun, buttt...I realized that the small number of record stores around me are probably not going to be offering a whole lot of hours. If they're even hiring. I know Newtown Book and Record isn't. SCAT is hiring office assistant people for over the summer and one of the positions is $7.00 so I'm considering it. But at the same time...do I wanna be commuting down to Temple numerous times during the week for the whole summer? Hmm..I don't know.
I need to get my ass to the gym. I didn't eat that much last week...because I was sick, but still. But holy crap yesterday...I was in my pregnant mood so therefore I was eating everything in sight (sorry abby) and I could've passed for like..three months pregnant. It was disgusting times five million. Ewww.
Abby's birthday was yesterday though!! She opened my present at midnight-ish and eventually we went to bed. Didn't do much during the day because everyone was busy. So, Abby and I went and got food from Master Wok as our own mini celebration, I guess? lol. I dunno. I hope she had a good day.
I have a headache.
But, it's gorgeous outside so that makes everything better.
